His extensive background includes 30 years of successfully owning and operating a chain of beauty salons in the Pinehurst and Southern Pines area of North Carolina. Attuned to his clients needs, he became interested in permanent hair removal. Mr. Cole began a mission to discover a way that he could introduce this service to his clientele. He began to research the methods that other salons were using for permanent hair removal. Through this research, he discovered that needle electrolysis was effective, but involved a great deal of pain and often horrific side effects such as scarring of the patient's skin. He then researched radio frequency products and found them to be totally ineffective. Since then, and continuing now, his interest has been on non-invasive galvanic current methods. This has credited him with three United States patents (Patent #5,026,369, #5,534,003, & #6,039,746) for his research on permanent hair removal as well as patents in targeted countries worldwide. He has specialized in medical research his entire professional career, concentrating on skin care problems. Through his independent research company, Dr. Chandler has spent the last 12 years studying various forms of hair removal and lecturing worldwide. He was instrumental in gaining FDA clearances for Rejuvenu International, Ltd.'s products and equipment and is the co-inventor of the new Transcutaneous Electro Patch method. He is considered one of the foremost experts in the field of non-invasive electrolysis.
